Cetra Technologies Pty Ltd is an Australian based cryogenic insulation manufacturing technology company
Formed in 2000 that specializes in the development of manufacturing systems for low and high density polyurethane and polyisocyanurate rigid foam insulation systems.
The principals of Cetra Technologies Pty Ltd are Ashley Challenor and Steve King.
Ashley Challenor and Steve King have worked in the foam insulation industry continuously since 1985 and have manufactured and or installed rigid foam insulation systems in many LNG plants around the world since that time. These plants include Woodside’s North West Shelf LNG Development Projects in Australia, Malaysian LNG projects in Bintulu, Indonesian LNG projects in Bontang, Nigerian LNG projects at Bonny Island, a USA LNG project at Golden Pass Texas and Chilean LNG projects at Quintero.
Rigid foam insulation manufacturing systems developed by Challenor and King have also supplied rigid foam insulation to projects for Lumut LNG in Brunei, Qualhat LNG in Oman, Rasgas LNG in Qatar and Damietta LNG in Egypt.
Cetra Technologies Pty Ltd has been consulting to German pipe support manufacturing compay LISEGA AG on the manufacture of high density polyurethane foam systems for cold pipe supports since 2001 and formalized an exclusive Global Technology Licence Agreement with LISEGA AG in early 2005. Lisega manufactures Cetra Technologies's moulded high density rigid foam systems at its wholly owned cryogenics facility in Qingpu on the outskirts of Shanghai.
Recent developments pioneered by Cetra Technologies Pty Ltd are a low density rigid foam pipe insulation moulding system utilizing HFC blown foam and a preformed, moulded rigid foam insulation system for pre-insulated piping systems.
Cetra Technologies Pty Ltd licenced its moulded low density rigid foam to Matrix Composites & Engineering Co Ltd in 2009.
Matrix Composites & Engineering Co Ltd is manufacturing Cetra Technologies Pty Ltd moulded low density insulation systems at its 8.4 hectare industrial complex at Henderson, south of Perth in Western Australia.
